It has been a long time since I updated my blog. We have been so busy both at school and home! Here are some things we did earlier in the year. This was our Family Night. Here are some pics of the families that were able to come.
This is one of my students now with his big sister that used to be one of my babies. She is now in the 6th grade!!! They grow up way too quickly.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: We learn all about letters, sounds, and our names during this week. Here are some of our ABC Stations and activities we did.
They are making a Chicka Chicka shake bottle. Very loud. Very annoying, but oh so much fun!!!!

I had to add these pictures. These babies were exhausted!!!!!!!! It took FOREVER to wake them up!
Did I mention that EVERY child was SOUND ASLEEP!
ABC Party: We listen to Who Let the Letters Out by: Dr. Jean. Each balloon had a letter card in it. The kiddos popped the balloons to let the letters out. Look at all the smiling faces.
Coconut exploration:
This year we went on a shape hunt throughout our school. We separated into 4 groups since we have 4 iPads. Each group had an iPad and was responsible for finding shapes all around our school and taking pictures of them. They took turns and absolutely LOVED this! When we returned to our classroom, each group was responsible for sharing their pictures and telling which shapes they found. Here are some of the shapes they found.
Now, these are my most favorite pictures. It doesn't matter if they have never touched an iPad. They learn how to use the camera almost immediately. I love all their "selfies".
