Pilgrims lived in cabins

We learned all about Pilgrims. We learned that pilgrims built log cabins when they came to America. Each child "built" his own cabin using milk cartons, peanut butter, and pretzel sticks. I will post more Thanksgiving pictures soon.

Llama Llama Red Pajamas

We joined Mrs. Landers for Llama Llama Red Pajamas. Mrs.Landers read the story to us, then we helped her read it. After the story, we got to see a REAL LLAMA!!!!!! The kids were so excited. We also had our picture taken with our school mural. Did I mention that we got to wear our pajamas to school????

Fall and the Pumpkin Patch

We had a blast at the Pumpkin Patch. We played in a corn pit, climbed hay stacks, picked a pumpkin, put together puzzles, enjoyed the animals and farm life and got to go on a hay ride. It was so exciting and we learned a lot. Thanks to all the parents that joined us. I couldn't have done it without you!

Red Ribbon Week rocked! Two Albertville High School football players came and read to our class. The kids were amazed. They treated the football players like superstars!

                                                                    Super hero day!

Crazy hair day. Have you ever seen such crazy hair???

We  got to trick-or-treat our school. We painted our faces and walked down our semi-dark halls acting like ghosts. I know, scary!!! We visited the lunchroom, office, counselor, library, Mrs. Landers, and Mrs. Stone for treats. It was sooooo much fun!
Our PTO Program. We were Humpty Dumpty. The kids did a GREAT job singing our fun Nursery Rhyme songs.
